Over thirty years of extensive hands-on experience as a real estate developer, counselor investor, broker and manager of commercial, office, industrial, manufacturing and healthcare projects;

Developed, leased, and financed a 165,000 sq. ft. facility for Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems; a 480,000 sq. ft. distribution center for Owens Corning; a 160,000 sq. ft. distribution center for Siemens Energy & Automation; a 60,000 sq. ft. warehouse for the Timken Company; a 52,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility; a 111,000 sq. ft. office building for ABB Inc.; an 86,000 sq. ft. headquarters office building for Bell & Howell; an 80,000 sq. ft. office building leased to Aetna Life Insurance; a 24,000 sq. ft. and a 50,000 sq. ft. ambulatory center for OhioHealth; and 162,000 and 120,000 sq. ft. speculative industrial distribution centers;

Acquired office buildings of 116,000 sq. ft., 125,000 sq. ft., 200,000 sq. ft., 460,000 sq. ft. and 180 acres for a bank corporate campus project valued respectively at $14,000,000, $13,000,000, $22,000,000, $16,000,000 and $10,000,000;

Advisor/Consultant to Bank QPAM for Taft Hartly Ohio and Michigan pension fund’s real estate investment portfolios totaling over $250 million.

As Senior Vice President with the national development firm of John W. Galbreath & Co. from 1983 to 1990. He directed their national marketing program for over 10 million sq. ft. of commercial office space, valued at over $500 million and directed the negotiation of over 100 leases annually. He also acquired, disposed, financed, restructured and consulted on projects totaling over $200 million.

Prior to 1983, owner of Carey Realty in Buffalo, New York and was previously employed by a brokerage company and by the international development firm, Hammerson Properties.

Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Canisius College. Real estate broker licenses are currently held in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and New York. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designee and a Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) member;

Currently, the chairman of the $13 billion Fifth Third Funds, former chairman of the Ohio/Kentucky Chapter of Counselors of Real Estate, past chairman of the Columbus Catholic Foundation, currently a member of the Canisius College Board of Trustees and Executive Committee. Former board member of the Columbus and national board of National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP), the Columbus Theatrical Association and the City of Columbus Development Commission.
